Initial results from IQ-Lab presented at the online Big Bang conference
The IQ-Lab project group attended the annual national Big Bang conference on 24-25 March online. The 2021 conference theme was ‘Science in the Future’.
Jan Alexis Nielsen presented the latest results from the project regarding a comprehensive systematic review of empirical studies in laboratory education.
The systematic review is part of WP2, which investigates how laboratory-related competences in a university pharmaceutical education context can be described and characterised.
In his presentation, Jan Alexis Nielsen described the review process and presented the outcome - an overview of the competences that students acquire through laboratory work.
68 conference participants attended the presentation, and Laura T. Finne from the IQ-Lab project group was moderating the session.
