Findings from the IQ-Lab research project
On the 15th of March, PhD student Jonas Tarp Jørgensen presented findings from the IQ-Lab research project at an the AEU Conference for laboratory technicians.
The presentation on how the attendees could improve their own communication with students in laboratory teaching. It was part of a workshop on laboratory teaching and professional development and was conducted in collaboration with Christine Holm from the Department of Science Education.
The research done in IQ-lab show the importance of awareness pertaining the variety of learning outcomes from laboratory exercises. Dissemination of ideas to laboratory technicians can greatly contribute to an improved learning environment in laboratories in higher education.
